Project and Team Management

Today, businesses function in teams and they innovate and grow through projects.  Projects drive new product development, process innovation, and technology.  Yet a 2012 McKinsey & Company study of 5400 large scale projects found that on average, projects ran 45% over budget and delivered only half as much value as projected.(1)

With such high rates of failure in projects, capable project managers are in high demand.  Our Project and Team Management Program will give you the tools and skills you need to keep your projects on task, on time, and on budget, and your teams functioning effectively and efficiently.

We will show you how to sequence tasks, allocate resources, monitor progress, and develop an early-warning system for problem spots. You will also improve in those all-important abilities to manage expectations, and to structure, staff, motivate, and manage your project team.  We'll cover project management from both a strategic and a tactical level with cases, exercises, and readings.

Build your resume and your company's competitive edge by earning the coveted Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute This course fulfills the classroom instruction requirement for the PMP Certification or the CAPM Certification.
